Elective and Emergency Surgeries

Whether it’s a lump that just isn’t right, a wound needing repair, or the foreign body that shouldn’t be there, we are equipped for a wide range of surgery.

Examples of emergency surgeries include GDV’s (“twisted stomach”), severe lacerations, caesarean sections, pyometra surgery, and removal of foreign bodies (e.g. intestinal blockage). Elective surgeries include spay and neuter, lump removal, abscess drainage, cruciate surgery, amputations, and a range of eye and ear surgeries. There are many more!

VET TIP:

NEVER ALLOW YOUR DOG TO EAT CORN COBS! They are one of the most common items causing intestinal blockage in dogs!
