Geriatric Cat & Dog Checks

Your pets change as they get older; our aim is to keep your pets enjoying life as long as possible. Many conditions (kidney disease, dental disease, thyroid conditions, heart disease, diabetes, cancer and arthritis) are easier to manage proactively and often treatable if diagnosed early enough.  A pet is considered “senior” from the age of seven years of age and taking your pet to the vet once a year is the same as seeing your doctor or dentist every seven years – scary thought!

All patients on on-going pain relief medication for arthritis require six monthly blood tests to monitor their liver enzymes, book an appointment now – we have an in-house laboratory analyser that can give you same day results.
